Halden: Factory software for precision machining
Active
Most precision machine shops, the small and mid-sized manufacturers that make parts for aircraft, medical devices and chip-making equipment, still run on whiteboards and spreadsheets. Halden replaces them. It connects directly to CNC machines, schedules jobs across the shop floor and tracks every part from quote to final inspection.
Joris grew up in his family’s machining business outside Eindhoven, and Sanne ran operations at a contract manufacturer before they started the company together. Grant led the Series A in 2019 after spending two days on the floor of one of Halden’s earliest customers, watching the planners work.
Today more than 600 shops in Europe and North America run on Halden, and customers report machine utilisation rising by around 15 per cent in their first year. We have invested in every round since.
