Hana Weber

Principal, Stockholm

Hana Weber works from the Stockholm office on investments where climate and finance overlap: insurance, energy markets and the financial products that new infrastructure depends on. She joined in 2020 and leads the firm’s investments in Covera and Amperra.

Hana spent five years structuring financing for wind and solar projects at a German bank, which taught her how much of the energy transition turns on contracts rather than hardware. She is quick to get into a company’s unit economics and regulatory exposure, and founders often bring her in when they are negotiating a first partnership with an insurer or a utility.

She grew up in Freiburg and is working through an evening class in Swedish that she admits she should have started in 2020.
